Well, I’m sorry to say on this Martin Luther King Day, that most people still do not understand the vision shared by Dr King so many years ago. Most people would agree that racism in America has become less of an issue as time has granted, but most would also say that we are still held back in society by the idea that skin color is a primary source of identity recognition. Our identity has nothing to do with our skin color. Struggles have been had and some much more difficult than others, but when it comes down to it, our person is defined by who we are in our soul.
